Coastal Contemporary

This project is a wonderful example of the transformative power of design. We reconceived an otherwise indistinct home as the remarkable modern residence you see here. Our scope of work included extensive exterior and interior renovations. The exterior is a contemporary interpretation of Key West coastal which we achieved by reworking the entry, embracing clean lines, and selecting modern finishes. Heavy timber truss work brings warmth and structure to the entry portico while metal and glass garage doors add an element of understated drama. For the interior, we revised the floor plan, conducted a complete kitchen remodel, redesigned the master suite, and refurbished the pool area. We created a warm, contemporary coastal vibe, carefully selecting everything from furniture and art to finishes and window treatments. The spectacular staircase — with its glass rails, deep-toned wood, and complex geometry — and the retractable wall in the great room — which opens to the terrace and breathtaking views — are as fabulous as they are functional. Most importantly, our clients were elated with the outcome.
