Avila-Transitional Home

The connection between art and collector is deeply personal. For this project, an elegant Mediterranean style home located in the exclusive Avila Golf & Country Club, our client’s extensive collection of original glass art and paintings served as inspiration. With a curator’s eye and the reverence of a fellow collector, we worked with our clients to display each piece, retrofitting spaces and adding lighting as needed. Working with the home’s natural wood and stone finishes, we created a palette that combined cool and warm tones and a variety of textures. Transitional furnishings and tailored design elements create an impeccable sense of balance. For the home’s circular living room we procured a custom round rug and curved sofa to further enhance the dynamic layout of the space. In the club room, a statement light fixture serves as a sculptural centerpiece for a seating area, equipped with swivel chairs and a substantial cocktail table that is sure to host its fair share of deep discussions and spirited debates. In the master bedroom, icy tones are balanced by rich, irresistible textures. Thoughtful selections and a truly collaborative process culminated in an abode curated to fit our client’s fancy.
