Transitional Color
Designed by our friend and colleague, the late Thomas Everett Lamb, the exterior of this 5,600 square foot custom-built home is a clean palette of white stucco walls and dark bronze window frames. Our client, who was fearless with color, pattern, and texture, wanted a home that represented their family’s bright and bustling lifestyle. We happily obliged, creating a playful mix of colors, textures, and pattern that reflect the homeowners’ joie de vivre. Traditional furniture pieces were updated with modern fabrics. Wallpaper selections — from the Phillips Jeffreys grasscloth in the powder room, to the grey stamped-leather wallpaper in the dining room, and the grey faux bois wallpaper in the game room — add depth and personality. The result is a beautiful, functional backdrop for a life well-lived.
